Chapter 1976 Give Me Grandchildren

Cindy didn’t really care much; she simply set the phone aside and ate with Aurora. While they ate,

Aurora’s phone vibrated. Glancing at it, Cindy knew that there was an incoming message.

A surprised Aurora had no idea who sent the message, so she picked up the phone and checked it,

after which she frowned a little.

Cindy asked while eating, “What's wrong? Who sent you the message? Is it from the filming crew? Is

something the matter?”

Aurora shook her head. “No, it’s from the person we were talking about earlier. He sent me a picture of

his daughter’s child.”

While putting the phone down, she thought about it and raised her eyes to look at Cindy. “When will

you and Ian get married and give me grandchildren?”

As if she had been affected by Ian’s lewdness, Cindy suddenly thought about the process of conceiving

a child. She hurriedly put her thoughts to rest as she felt aghast at herself.

After lunch, she watched TV for a while with Aurora before Aurora left.

When Cindy was left alone once again, she went to take a shower first, and then went back to her room

to finish the design that she hadn't finished earlier during the day. She was humming a song while

drawing and her phone was next to her. She didn't know when Ian would be finished with his work and

merely waited for his reply.

She had just finished with the design when he called, informing her that he had just finished work and

was now on his way to the hotel.

Cindy held the phone with one hand and the brush with the other, asking, “Have you eaten yet? Quickly

eat when you get back.”

Ian's voice was filled with amusement as he responded, “I ate a little just now. Some of the crew

members’ families came to visit today, so I had some food.”

Now that visits were mentioned, Cindy couldn’t help but think about her visiting Ian. It was an innocent

matter which had suddenly resulted with so much gossip. After that, she hurriedly spoke to him about

the matter of Yulia's statement.

He grunted and replied, “I heard the others talk about this. Yulia doesn’t have a good relationship with

that director. The two had also belittled each other in the previous interview.” Upstodatee from Novel(D)ra/m/a.O(r)g

Cindy spoke with some emotion. “I thought Yulia has no enemies in the entertainment industry and that

they are all her contacts.”

At that, Ian laughed out loud. “How is that possible? With her kind of personality, it’s extremely easy for

her to make enemies.”

She nodded in agreement. Previously, when something happened to Yulia, no one in the entertainment

industry had stood up for her. Her so-called connections were only based on how much value they had

for each other.

Ian then changed the subject and asked Cindy how Aurora was doing. He had called Aurora a few

days ago, but they had hung up without saying much on the phone as she was extremely busy.

Cindy did not mention the matter of Aurora being pestered by that man; she merely replied that

everything was good on Aurora’s end.

If Ian was beside her, she might have mentioned Aurora’s matter, but even if he was aware of it, there

was nothing he could do since he wasn’t physically here now. So, it was better to forget it to save him

from less trouble.

After that, she said that the matter of the drama was resolved wherein Aurora would be responsible for

it since she had been in charge of the negotiations for some time.

At the other end of the line, Ian grunted and then hesitantly said, “Yulia actually helped out with this.”

A startled Cindy could only sigh. “She really treats you well.”

Hearing this, he laughed. “I really don’t need her to treat me well. It’s too stressful and I feel way too

burdened.”

She smiled as she knew that he was being honest and not pretentious. Thus, she commented, “I

understand.”

After the two people talked for a while, someone over on Ian’s side needed him, so she proceeded to

cut the call.
