Chapter 1983

Chapter 1983 Another Opinion

She wasn't dissing Naomi or anything. However, the point was that Naomi was still single.

Naomi only called Cindy back after Cindy got home from work. She lied to her mentor and said she

drew the drafts herself, and she wanted some feedback. Naomi's mentor was probably not as talented

as Serena, since she didn't even point out any flaws. She even praised Naomi for the progress Naomi

made and said she felt glad because of that.

Cindy wasn't happy about the praise at all. She didn't think her drafts were great, and she knew there

must be a lot of flaws in them. She was just starting to wade into the professional world, so she couldn't

believe she could reach perfection in such a short time.

Not every designer was as great as Serena. She could imagine how Serena could point out all the

flaws in the draft if she gave it to her. I'm lucky to be learning from her.

Naomi felt embarrassed as well, and she sounded apologetic. "Honestly, I thought my mentor was

talented, but now I think I might have overestimated her. I asked her if there was any problem with the

draft, and she looked at it for hours only to say it's perfect."

Can't do anything about that. Cindy smiled. "I'll ask my mentor about it once she comes back."

Naomi was slightly envious. "You can improve really quickly if you have a mentor who knows what

she's doing. I'm envious, girl. My mentor is just..."

Cindy sighed. "I'll tell you about the tips my mentor gave me after I ask her about it. We'll improve

together."

Naomie smiled. "Okay. Don't forget about me when you're successful. I'm just waiting for you to carry

me."

They joked around, then Naomi asked how Cindy handled the trending topics that were related to Ian.

Naomi said she checked the news about the girl and about the kiss between Cindy and Ian and found

that they weren't on the list of trending topics anymore. What was left was the set's promo poster and

the case with Yulia.

Cindy wasn't too sure either. "His company probably pulled something and got that search to stop Têxt © NôvelDrama.Org.

trending. The things you said could be left off trending, but the promotion for the drama and the case

with Yulia can't be dealt with, so they're left up there."

Naomi clicked her tongue. "I went to curse Yulia, but wow, everyone in the comment section took the

words right out of my mouth. I was a step too late to the battlefield."

Cindy knew that would happen. After all, the proof was concrete. The whistleblower was an executive

director, so even though he had a grudge against Yulia, people still believed him. He was in the

industry after all, so his sources were probably legitimate. Well, that's Yulia's problem. Ian's not that

badly affected.

Cindy looked at the time. "It's getting late. I have to make dinner. Talk to you later."

She hung up and called Aurora to ask her if she wanted to have dinner together.

Aurora had been waiting for the call. When Aurora picked up the phone, she smiled. "I was just thinking

if you were home already. You would have called me if you were."

Cindy smiled. "Come over. I'm making dinner right now."

"Sure," Aurora answered, then she hung up. Cindy wasn't done yet when Aurora came, so Aurora went

to help with dinner.
