Chapter 682 Who Dares to Face Me?!

Chapter 682 Who Dares to Face Me?!

"Who are you?" Wendell steadied himself forcefully. "Are you also from Cole Gang?!"

Bronte glared and was about to speak, but Zephyr raised his hand to stop him. Then, the latter replied with a faint smile, "We're simply ordinary individuals. I wonder if the Black Boxer Gang members dare to accept our challenge."

"Why wouldn't we accept the challenge?!" Wendell's eyes turned fierce. He turned his head and shouted to his subordinates, "Who's up next? Is he ready?!"

"Mr. Martin, the next fighter is Adrien!" one of the subordinates answered. "He's fully prepared, so any minute now!"

"Good!" Wendell shouted and looked at Zephyr. "Our men are ready. Whom do you plan to send out first?!" Property of Nô)(velDr(a)ma.Org.

Bronte eagerly said, "Zephyr, let me take the lead!"

He acknowledged that Zephyr possessed superior combat skills compared to himself. If Zephyr were to go first, he would likely triumph over his opponents effortlessly, leaving no opportunity for Bronte to showcase his abilities on stage.

After a brief contemplation, Zephyr nodded in agreement and added, "Very well. Remember, our objective is to incapacitate, not to take lives."

"Got it. Just watch me!" Bronte cracked his knuckles in excitement.

He had dedicated himself to studying ancient martial arts in the dōjō since he was young. Over the years, he had recently surpassed the initial stage of a martial artist and barely stepped into the realm of a martial master.

Although he was aware there was still a long journey ahead to reach the higher levels of Delta, Gamma, Beta, and Alpha, he had already established himself as exceptional among his peers.

However, until now, his experience had been limited to teaching students in the dōjō and participating in low-level matches that offered a little technical challenge.

There had never been a suitable stage for him to showcase his skills, but today, he finally had the opportunity to shine.

Bronte stepped forward, positioning himself in front of Wendell, and confidently declared, "Allow me the honor of going first and witnessing the true strength of the fighters from your gang!"

Wendell's eyes flickered, and he gestured toward the stage, extending his hand. "Please, go ahead."

"Okay!" Bronte shouted and stepped onto the edge of the stage.

As he slightly bent his legs, his thigh muscles bulged. With a powerful push from both knees, he leaped onto the stage!

His feet landed with a resounding thud.

As Wendell witnessed this astonishing feat, his pupils involuntarily contracted. He realized Bronte possessed an exceptional level of physical prowess to effortlessly leap onto a platform as high as a human.

The spectator stands erupted into a crescendo of enthusiastic cheers as the audience displayed the exhilaration on their faces.

Initially, their expectations were dampened by Bronte's less muscular physique. However, as they witnessed his astonishing jumping ability, they erupted into enthusiastic applause and cheers.

Although they were not experts, they recognized the difficulty of such a feat for an ordinary person. Jumping ability required not only leg strength but also exceptional core strength and balance.

Even Kingsley in the VIP room could not help but raise an eyebrow. "He's no ordinary fighter, Mr. Howe. It appears that you've encountered a formidable opponent."

Baron did not take it seriously and patted his chest, saying, "Boss Nicholson, someone like him is nothing but a small fry. One of my men can take on eight of him without breaking a sweat!"

In reality, he did not even regard Bronte as a threat.

Kingsley shook his head slightly. "There's a strange force within him. I believe the outcome of this match is uncertain."

Not wanting to challenge his perspective, Baron turned to ask the subordinate next to him and asked, "Who is his opponent in this match?"

"Boss, it's Adrien."

"Adrien?" Baron smiled faintly. "With him stepping up, I can feel more at ease."

After Bronte landed on the stage and surveyed the surroundings, he exclaimed with arrogance, "Who dares to face me?!"

As soon as his voice faded, a man with a bare upper body stepped onto the stage and bellowed, "It's me!"
