Chapter 782 Nine Diamond Rings
Chapter 782 Nine Diamond Rings
Isn't the person who saved Yulia from Randy that day me?! Kingsley couldn't help but think in bewilderment.
He scratched his head, unsure of how to explain this particular matter to Reene.
After all, she had confessed her feelings to him. So, he was afraid that telling her the truth would only make her worry and feel sad.
Fortunately, Mason came to his rescue just as his mind was coming up with half-baked ideas, rendering him momentarily mute and incapable of continuing the conversation.
"Now, none of these things matter! What's important right now is to establish a partnership with the Sheffields!"
So, Mason turned to him and said, "Kingsley, I think you shouldn't tarry. Go to the Sheffields now and check things out."
"Alright." Kingsley quickly rose to his feet. "I'll visit the Sheffields right away."
Although the Sheffields were a nationally renowned jewelry family, they had always lived in Cleapolis. Frankly, one could consider Cleapolis their territory at this point. It only made them seem even more intimidating when one were to factor in their wealth along with the power they hold in Cleapolis.
Nonetheless, what surprised Kingsley was that the Sheffields didn't live in an extremely luxurious wealthy area like the Keans or the Steins. Instead, they had built a large estate near the outskirts of the city.
Of course, there was no doubt it was still a massive place. In fact, it was so huge that it had five courtyards. Regardless, the architectural style was not as extravagant as the Sheffields had chosen
something closer to nature. Thus, it was clear that this place was built according to the wishes of Old Mrs. Sheffield.
Kingsley parked the car at the entrance of the Sheffield Estate and rang the doorbell.
Soon, a middle-aged woman who looked like a housekeeper came over and opened the door.
"Hello, I'm looking for Cameron Sheffield." He didn't bother beating around the bush.
Cameron Sheffield was the owner of Gavell Jewelry Atelier.
They had met when he was accompanying Cecilia to pick out an engagement ring.
"You're looking for Miss Sheffield?" The housekeeper couldn't help but size him up. "What's your name? I have to ask her about you before I can allow you entry."
People who pursued Cameron Sheffield were a dime a dozen. Thus, several bolder ones would eventually come knocking at the door in an attempt to establish a good relationship with Cameron.
So, when the housekeeper noticed that Kingsley was young, she instinctively took him for one of Cameron's many suitors.
Kingsley didn't mind it at all as he replied, "My last name is Nicholson. Just tell her that I've bought nine diamond rings." Belongs © to NôvelDrama.Org.
The housekeeper immediately perked up upon hearing his words! A person who was capable of buying nine diamond rings was undoubtedly a wealthy heir.
"Please wait a moment."
Then, the housekeeper gently closed the door and ran towards the backyard after that.
Although the door was not locked, he didn't even consider barging in without an invite.
He was visiting in order to secure the cooperation with the Sheffields, so he had to show corresponding sincerity. Suddenly, he heard hurried footsteps coming from the courtyard after waiting patiently for approximately five minutes.
Shortly after, Cameron's voice came through as she exclaimed, utterly aghast, "Marie, how could you make Mr. Nicholson wait at the door?! Do you know who he is?!"
"I'm sorry, Miss Sheffield..." The two of them arrived at the door as they spoke.
Cameron personally opened the door and apologized to Kingsley, saying, "I'm so sorry for making you wait, Mr. Nicholson..."
She still remembered that Kingsley was someone who held an unlimited the Federacy's joint Elite Gold Card! There was no doubt that this man was most definitely a top-notch VIP!
Kingsley merely smiled faintly, "It's alright. She was just doing her duty by not letting me in."
Marie shot a grateful glance at him but didn't dare to speak out of turn.
"Mr. Nicholson, please come in quickly!"
Cameron led Kingsley into the courtyard and walked towards the reception room while expressing her confusion, "Mr. Nicholson, why did you come in person? Is there something I can do for you?"
She had an excellent figure. At this moment, she was wearing a traditional silk dress that fit her like a glove, accentuating her extreme sexiness.
It didn't matter whether she frowned or smiled as her every movement and gesture exuded a sense of ancient charm that modern beauties couldn't dream to match.
Even someone like Kingsley, who wasn't particularly interested in beauty, couldn't help but take a few more glances at her.
Nonetheless, there was no trace of desire in his eyes, only admiration.
"There is indeed something I need your help with." He got straight to the point, saying, "I want to see Old Mrs. Sheffield and talk to her about something..."
