Your Love Is My Weapon

Chapter 277

Chapter 277

"Do you mean you refuse to leave the Jones Family?" Harriet was a little angry. What if Arya

steadfastly refused to sign?

Arya's attitude made Henry very unhappy. He felt that she was threatening him.

"You have to sign today!" He was spitting mad.

Harriet grabbed the corner of Arya's shirt. "Are you doing this deliberately to anger Henry?"

Arya shook her hand away and snapped, "F*ck off."

However, as soon as she finished her words, the tall and thick door of the villa was suddenly pushed

open. Rufus walked in. Seeing him, Harriet raised a bleak smile.

Arya's face turned pale immediately. She looked at Harriet and said, "You set me up..." Content is property © NôvelDrama.Org.

"What are you talking about? I don't understand." Harriet denied it unthinkingly.

Although Henry was furious, he questioned in a calm voice, "We didn't invite anyone in. Isn't it rude of

you to barge in like this? Is that what your father taught you?"

Rufus's eyes fell on Arya directly, "I'm here for her."

Harriet crossed her arms around her chest and looked at them with amusement.

"The Jones Family doesn't want you. I want you. I told you, I'm no worse than Xavier and the Gates

Family is as good as the Jones Family in both power and status. Why not leave this place where

everyone treats you so badly..."

"Get the hell out of here!" Arya trembled and pointed to the door. "Now!"

She used all her strength to shout these words.

"What do you have to say for yourself? You think we're stupid and deaf?" Harriet asked stridently.

Henry had wanted to solve this secretly. The sudden presence of Rufus startled him.

Ryan had gone back to the villa instead of the Old Residence after being discharged from the hospital.

Why?

Was it because of Rufus?

Did she know the Gates Family? He had thought about accepting her and warned her to stay away

from the Gates Family, but what had she done?

Henry was so disappointed that he didn't care about decency now. He desperately wanted to dissociate

Arya from the Jones Family.

"If the news was fake, what about now? How do you explain it?" Henry calmed down and asked. The

only thought in his mind was that Arya didn't deserve to be one of the Jones Family.

She was too indiscreet to do anything properly.

"What are you doing?!" Daisy showed up at the door.

She hadn't seen Henry and Harriet at lunch. Thinking of the news this morning, she guessed that

Henry must have come to the villa. When she walked to the door, she saw this scene in the room. What

were they doing?

Where Rufus stood was very conspicuous. Daisy spotted him first and her face darkened. He'd come

to peter Arya once and had actually broken into the house today.

Daisy walked in. Appeasing Henry was the most important now, so she ignored Rufus and said,

"What..."

"Shut up!" Henry ranted, his chest heaving in rage. He glared at Arya and asked severely, "Can you

stop making a scene? Do you think we can accept someone like you as our daughter-in-law?!"

Daisy roughly knew why Henry was so angry.

Bridget came with Daisy and knew why Henry was so angry too.

Bridget glanced coldly at Rufus and then fixed her eyes on Arya, "What happened? Why is Rufus

here?"

Arya struggled to pull herself together and looked around at those people in the room. She didn't think

they would believe her even if she told the truth.

How she wished someone could stand by her side, support her, and trust her at this time.

She slowly lowered her head and looked at her lower abdomen. What was she going to do?

'Xavier, what should I do?'

"Since they detest you, why don't you leave them?" Rufus said pointedly at this time to make Henry

hate her.

'When Xavier comes back, his wife is no longer his wife. What would the expression on his face be?'

Rufus was exhilarated by the thought. He had never defeated Xavier. He had to win today.

"I'll sign!" Arya's voice was not loud, but it echoed through the living room.

She couldn't stand the slanders of Rufus anymore. There was no telling how he would smear her if she

didn't stop this farce now.

She tramped to the desk. The tears she'd choked back finally streamed down her face.

"Arya." Bridget felt very distraught. She didn't know how things had become like this.

Daisy froze. When she came back to her senses and reached out for Arya, Henry grabbed her wrist

tightly to stop her from moving.

"No..." Daisy shouted at Arya.

Everyone looked at Arya. Some couldn't wait for her to sign while others eagerly hoped she stopped.

Arya's hand holding the pen was trembling. She didn't want to sign, not at all. But did she have other

options now? The nib of the pen touched the paper and she couldn't write a single letter. Henry glanced

at her, "What conditions do you have?"

Arya only felt sarcastic that they forced her to divorce and tried to compensate for it.

"I want nothing from you. I just want to say that I haven't cheated on Xavier neither have I done

anything to disgrace the Jones Family. Believe it or not, I haven't done anything wrong." Then Arya

signed her name. Writing those letters was like carving them in her heart with a dagger.

A simple signature exhausted all her strength.

Rufus walked towards Arya. Bridget stopped him. Rufus frowned at her and said, "Please get out of my

way!"

"You're the one who's in the way. You're the one who has no right to speak here!" Bridget glared at him.

Rufus wasn't provoked and ignored Bridget's infuriation. "Don't worry, I'll leave, but I have to leave with

my woman."

'His woman?'

'Who is he referring to?'

'Arya?'

'How could he be so shameless?'

"Are you crazy? No one is your woman in here!"

Rufus' face changed. He pushed Bridget away and looked into her eyes. "To tell you the truth, I came

here today to take Arya away. It doesn't matter that you don't like her. I like her."

"You..."

Bridget could not find a word to refute him. She realized that the whole thing was Rufus' scheme. Why

had she hesitated to stop Arya from signing just now?

She regretted it so much, but it was too late.

Henry couldn't bear Arya for one more second, "Don't let me see you again."

He had never been so humiliated throughout his life.

Rufus's words got on his nerves. He abominated Arya.

This was what Rufus wanted. He walked to the desk to help Arya up but she flung his hand away and

stood up herself.

She looked up at Henry and Daisy. Her voice was very soft and weak. She felt that she would fall at

any time. "When I married Xavier, I knew that the gap between us was huge, but I always thought that

as long as I tried hard enough, you would accept me one day and we could be a loving family. It turned

out that I was daydreaming. I shouldn't have aspired to fit in the Jones Family."

Daisy opened her mouth but could not utter a word. There seemed to be a lump of hard and sour

cotton stuck in her throat.

Arya walked up to Daisy and took off the jade bracelet that she had given her when Xavier had been

unconscious, "I don't deserve to have it. Now I return it back to you."

"I gave it to you and it's yours. I'm so sorry..." Daisy didn't want to take it. She didn't know how to face

Xavier. When he'd left, she promised to take good care of Arya and their son, but now…

Arya shook her head and squeezed the bracelet into Daisy's hand, "It doesn't belong to me."

After saying that, Arya turned around and walked upstairs without looking back. She pushed open the

door of her room and asked Nanny Joy to pack her things up.

Nanny Joy didn't ask anything. She just did what Arya said.

Arya called Orlando and asked him to come to the villa.

Bridget came upstairs, worrying about her. Seeing that Arya was about to leave, she called her, "Sister-

in-law."

Arya dipped her head and put her hand on her slightly bulging abdomen. She said without looking up,

"Don't call me that anymore. It's not appropriate. I'm not your...sister-in-law."

Tears dropped as she spoke. Helplessness and coercion exhausted all her courage. She couldn't hold

on anymore. She was so tired.

At this moment, Ryan whimpered and slowly opened his eyes. Arya wiped her face and held Ryan up.

She was in such misery that she couldn't look completely unruffled.

Nanny Joy had taken him upstairs and he'd fallen asleep in Nanny Joy's arms after a while.

"Mommy, are you crying?" Ryan touched Arya's face with his small hand.

Arya shook her head and said, "No."

But she tightened her arms around him. At this moment, her heart was cold. Only holding Ryan tightly

could she feel a little warmth.

Nanny Joy finished packing her things when Orlando arrived. After he saw so many people in the living

room, his face darkened slightly. 'What happened?'

'Why are their expressions so gloomy?'
