Chapter 321
Chapter 321
Arya frowned, "What do you mean?"
Georgina intended to pass the evidence to Xavier through Arya. Therefore, even if Xavier didn't want to
get the favor, he had to. But Arya was more difficult to handle than Georgina had expected.
Instead, it aroused her suspicion.
"Do you know what Xavier has been up to lately?" Since she couldn't trick her, Georgina simply
changed her strategy.
Sure enough, when Arya heard about Xavier, she looked more serious.
"If you're interested, why don't we have a cup of tea together?" Georgina smiled.
Her meaning was obvious. If she wanted to know, she had to drink tea with Georgina.
Arya smiled more brightly than Georgina. "Miss Taylor, you're wrong. Xavier is my husband. How can I
not know what he has been doing."
Arya posed a higher posture than hers, no matter what her purpose was or what she thought of Xavier.
She just wanted Georgina to know that it was impossible to provoke or manipulate her.
Georgina was speechless.
Her throat was dry and she didn't know what to say every time she opened her mouth.
Arya glanced at her calmly and called out to Nanny Joy, "Let's go."
Nanny Joy dragged her face. Did this woman know Mr. Jones?
Then why did she approach Arya on purpose?
Nanny Joy could not help but look back at Easton, who was holding the toy in his hand. He looked
neither like Ryan nor Xavier. Then Nanny Joy quietly let out a sigh of relief.
She thought it was a mistress with a child who came to threaten the wife.
Fortunately, they didn't look alike.
Arya didn't stay at the supermarket, but came out without buying anything. She asked the driver and
Nanny Joy to take Ryan home.
Nanny Joy was worried. "What about you?"
"I'll take a taxi. You guys go back first." Arya was just pretending to be indifferent. In fact, she really
didn't know what Xavier was busy with recently. Content is property © NôvelDrama.Org.
So, she had to go to the company.
"Well, let the driver take you to the company and then take Ryan and me back." Nanny Joy suggested,
worrying about her taking a taxi alone.
The driver echoed, "Although I'm the driver, I'm also responsible for your safety. Let me send you."
Arya had no choice but to agree.
Along the way, Arya never felt relaxed.
She kept guessing what Xavier had hidden from her.
The car stopped in front of the company. Arya pushed open the door and got out of the car. "You guys
go back first."
The driver nodded and turned the car around.
Arya stood on the steps and watched the car disappear bit by bit before she turned around and walked
into the company.
Arya took the elevator to the top floor. Once she was out, she could feel the tense working atmosphere.
The offices of all departments were on this floor, where the senior staff took charge of the normal and
orderly operation of every industry of the company.
"Hi, madam." A manager saw Arya in the corridor and greeted her.
Arya smiled back.
When she reached Xavier's office, Arya was about to open the door when the secretary stepped
forward and said, "Xavier is not here."
Arya frowned slightly. "Where is he?"
"Well... I don't know. There is no record on the itinerary."
"Where's Jacob?" Arya asked.
"It seems that he's not here either." The secretary said uncertainly.
She didn't see Jacob today.
"I see. I'll wait in the office."
"Okay." The secretary pushed open the office door. "Do you need something?"
"No, thanks."
Then the secretary left the office and closed the door.
The light shone brightly across the office through the broad French window. Behind the desk on the
right was a tall and wide bookshelf. In front of it was a rectangular desk that perfectly matched the
whole room in color.
Arya walked over, and her fingertips happened to meet the folder on the desk. The document she put in
last time didn't seem to be touched. She took it out and saw the name, Janet.
This name had appeared so many times. Who was she?
And who was Georgina?
She had too many questions in her heart.
Outside the door, Xavier approached the office. The secretary immediately said, "Madam is in your
office."
Xavier raised his eyebrows slightly. "How long has she been here?"
"It's been a while..."
Xavier pushed the door open. The light from the French window was not obscured at all. It was a little
harsh. He narrowed his eyes slightly and looked at the woman leaning against the desk. Xavier walked
in slowly to the French window, and pulled down the blinds. The light in the room immediately softened.
"You're back."
Xavier turned around and met Arya's clear eyes.
She was unusually calm so that Xavier realized something was wrong with her.
Xavier walked over and found something in front of the desk.
It was about Janet.
It was Xavier who asked Jacob to investigate. He wouldn't believe Janet's words. He had to find out if
her child was Jasper's. If so, he was willing to spend money to buy peace of mind for Arya.
But if not, he didn't have to care.
He remembered the last time Jacob sent it over. He didn't have time to read it, then he forgot.
Now that he saw it, he remembered it again. He took the folder and flipped through the ultrasound
sheet. Behind it was the information that Jacob had found.
According to the date told by Janet, Jacob confirmed from Madam Clinton that she did spend the night
with Jasper, and he also went to the hospital to ask the doctor to calculate the date, which matched the
date when Janet was pregnant.
As expected, Janet was pregnant with Jasper's child.
"Don't you have anything to say to me?" Arya looked straight at Xavier, her eyes becoming more and
more serious.
Xavier closed the folder and threw it on the desk. "What do you want me to say?"
For this document?
Didn't he say he didn't like to be suspected? But she was about to question him so soon?
Arya read the document and knew Janet's identity. After the shock, she was glad.
Fortunately, Jasper had a child.
But why didn't Xavier say it?
But it was understandable because she was emotionally unstable at that time, so he did nothing wrong
to hide it from her.
She could let it go, but she had to find out about Georgina.
What did she mean by that?
Arya sat up straight and looked up at the man across the desk. "Georgina, do you know her?"
Xavier was stunned. Shouldn't she ask about Janet?
Why did she transfer to Georgina all of a sudden?
How did she know about Georgina?
"She approached me on purpose." If what she had was a guess before, now she was sure that
Georgina deliberately arranged the meeting.
Xavier's eyes were cold and he suddenly understood a lot of things.
Before, he couldn't figure out who sent the photo to Arya instead of Janet.
Now, it was obvious...
