Chapter 86
Gilmore, David, and Christine walked out of the villa. Members of the Carter family saw them off.
Then the three of them got in a Rolls–Royce.
Along with the driver, they left the manor and headed for the Foster family’s place.
On the way, David looked at Gilmore and said, “You and Claire finally escaped the crisis tonight.”
Gilmore replied, “You and Christine cooperated well. Otherwise, I would’ve died tonight, and Claire would’ve been harmed.”
However, Christine, who was sitting beside Gilmore, did not think so. Because Gilmore was not really her boyfriend.

He had planned with David’s family about what to do in the Carter family’s manor in advance.
After getting out of the car, they walked to the largest villa in the manor.
Under the lights, a beautiful woman stood at the door. It was Jessica, Christine’s mother.
She heard the sound of a car and knew that her husband and daughter were back, so she came out to wait for them.
They came to the door, Jessica looked worried and asked, “David, how’s it going? Is Claire all right? Did Dad do anything to Gilmore?”
Gilmore, who was standing next to David, smiled at Jessica, and answered, “Mrs. Foster, I’m fine. Mr. Carter didn’t do anything-to me.”
