Chapter 224 Are You Crazy?
Josephine stared intently at her, eyes boring into the divorce certificate.
Sierra proudly walked up to Josephine and waved the certificate. “What else do you have to say?
”
Josephine’s eyes were blank, fixated on the divorce certificate. She subconsciously reached out to take it, but Sierra dodged her.
Sierra studied the divorce certificate. The filing date, case number, names, and so on were all written in black and white. It turned out that Josephine and Lewis were already divorced a week ago. Lewis was now officially a divorcee, and future pictures of him and Josephine would have them apart, not together.
Josephine paled. Her lips twitched. She was suddenly at a loss, not knowing how to react in the
face of the divorce certificate.
She felt like the clown in the room-a joke, even.
No wonder Lewis called her shameless yesterday. She had no idea how true that was.
Sierra kept the divorce certificate and smirked. “Alright. I shall leave now that I have what I’m here for.” She put it in her bag as an arrogant smile bloomed. “Josephine, take my advice and know your place. Don’t stick around any longer. Don’t you feel embarrassed? It’s better for you to stay in your lane and move out as soon as possible. It will be more humiliating if Lewis chases you out instead. But, of course, as shameless as you are, I don’t think you’ll mind anyway.”
With that, Sierra purposedly bumped Josephine with her shoulder and left the mansion like a proud peacock.
However, she shrieked when she reached the doorway, “Argh!”
Josephine turned to look and saw Sierra’s glowering face-she had stepped on the dog stool.
Sierra shot her a vicious glare, looking like she wanted to murder Josephine. “You damn mute. You did this on purpose, didn’t you?”
Josephine pressed her lips tightly and kept silent.
Sierra was totally disgusted. She exited the mansion, took her heels off, and threw them on
the lawn.
Then, she furiously stepped over the excrement at the doorway and strode toward Josephine.
Josephine saw her menacing demeanor and intuitively stepped back. Sierra closed in on her and slapped her without another word.
Slap! Everything went black for a moment as Josephine staggered and fell.
“Fucking mute. You’re so despicable even now when you’re divorced. Why do you have to do that to me when you’re the one who failed to make Lewis stay?” Sierra had never encountered such a horror. She bent over and grabbed Josephine’s collar as she threatened, “I’m warning
I’ll kill you if you still cling on to Lewis!”
you.
Sierra dared not act rashly when Lewis and Josephine were married. But what did she have to fear now that they were divorced? Lewis had dumped Josephine. She could do anything she wanted to Josephine now, couldn’t she?
At that thought, Sierra’s anger at stepping on the stool subsided.
Josephine saw Sierra’s smug look and was momentarily at a loss for words.
Sierra was right. Josephine had no right to stay around Lewis anymore. His official girlfriend was now Sierra, and Josephine was a nobody.
She was too shameful a person to legitimize; it had always been this way, but now even more so. She had no reason to retaliate when Sierra hit her because of her shamelessness.
However, Sierra’s swagger was an eyesore to Josephine. She once saw Sierra as a friend, but Sierra personally snatched her beloved from her.
“What? Are you indignant?” Sierra looked at her coldly. She sneered, “Who are you to feel indignant? Look at you. Who do you think you are to give me that look? Hang around any longer, and you’ll be considered illicit -”
Josephine trembled with every movement of Sierra’s lips and word she spouted. Her eyes gradually reddened.
Sierra was still rambling. Suddenly, Josephine grabbed her wrist and bit on it.

Josephine put all her might into that bite. Sierra’s bloodcurdling scream rang throughout the mansion and startled the puppies going through the trash.
The puppies trotted over, following the direction of the scream. They stood in a line nearby, heads tilted and tails swinging.
“Let go, you fucking mute!” screamed Sierra. She raised her other hand to slap Josephine.
Josephine immediately let go of the hand she was biting and grabbed the other. Then, she sank her teeth into that hand too.
Sierra shrieked again.
Both her hands were bleeding. She didn’t understand how Josephine’s teeth were so sharp. Josephine almost bit off a chunk of flesh from her hand.
She noticed a distinct, deep bite mark on the back of her hand. Josephine had bit through her
flesh, and blood was gushing from the exposed skin.
“Let go!” Sierra struggled. She used her free hand to tug Josephine’s hair, but her strength dwindled because of her injury.
At that moment, a car honk came from outside the mansion.
Josephine dismissed the sound, her teeth clamping tightly on Sierra’s wrist, refusing to let go. She seemed to have found a way to vent the anger within her; the deeper she bit, the faster the anger dissipated.
Sierra was already crying from the pain. She wailed for Josephine to let her go.
Josephine’s teeth sank in further. Blood trickled out of the corner of Josephine’s mouth- Sierra’s blood.
“Both of you! What are you doing?” Lewis’ voice came from behind.
Sierra saw her savior and pleaded with Lewis for help, “Lewis, save me! Josephine has gone mad!”
Lewis glowered as his gaze fell on Josephine’s face. She hung onto Sierra’s wrist, blood dripping from her mouth.
Josephine’s eyes fixated on Lewis, and her eyes flickered.
“Let go.”
Hugging Sierra’s hand, Josephine bit harder. Sierra took a deep breath and cried louder.” Lewis, pull her away, quick! Has she contracted rabies? Argh!”
Lewis’ face darkened as he stepped forward and grabbed Josephine’s lower jaw, saying in a low voice, “Let
1. Do you hear me?”
Josephine’s eyes flickered. She hesitated for a while but didn’t stop biting.
“Josephine!”
Josephine shuddered when she heard his bark. Lewis tightened his grip on her lower jaw, and the pain led to a frown on Jospehine’s brows. Also, her jaw relaxed slightly, and Sierra seized
the chance to withdraw her hand.
She inspected her bloody wrist and wept like a baby, “Lewis, look!”
Sierra showed him her wrist. Josephine’s bite penetrated her wrist so deep they could barely see the bite marks. They could only see a red circle deeply engraved into her flesh.
